A wonderful little hidden gem in Waikiki. Famous for their fabulously fluffy souffle pancakes.

Berry Berry Souffle Pancake
Aloha Kitchen is a little hole in the wall place, on the edge of waikiki in the middle of a residential area, just off of Ala Moana Boulevard. It has no parking so you’ll have to find parking on the street but what it lacks in luster on the outside, it well makes up for on the inside. I’d dare say that unless you knew about this place, you’d probably drive right by and never bother going in. The food though is incredible!
I will admit, I have only ordered breakfast here, but I’ve never been disappointed! Just look at some of their breakfast items below or you can check out their full menu.

Again, I’m a sucker for Japanese souffle pancakes and I love coconut so I tend to always order the same thing! The Coconut Souffle Pancakes! If you’ve never had Japanese souffle pancakes you’re in for a treat! This is a must try! They are light, fluffy, white and not at all eggy tasting, just completely delicious! They aren’t too sweet, just the topping is so it’s not overwhelming! It is truly wonderful!
Things to Note:
- If you are trying to find Aloha Kitchen their address is: 432 Ena Road, Honolulu Hawaii.
- You can walk there from Waikiki but it is very close to Ala Moana so it can be quite a long walk if you are staying near Kapiolani Park.
- You do NOT need to make reservations. However it is a small place so in peak season it can be quite busy and you may have to wait a little. There is no place to wait so you just have to stand outside but normally there is no wait. Of course I’m sure that all depends on time of day and what season you visit.
- Parking is limited to the street which can be tricky to find parking especially in peak season. You might have to walk a bit.
- They are closed on Monday’s.
- They are only open for breakfast and lunch.
- They close at 1:30pm and they take their last order at 1:00pm.
I can’t wait for you to try this little hidden gem! This was not a sponsored post. I just love supporting local spots that are my favorite! If you try this place let me know what you think! Be sure to snap some photos and tag me @birdandpoppy2016.
